The site is situated in an established residential cul-de-sac to the north, and a long-term care facility to the south. It is also 4-minute driving distance to North Perth Family Health Team known for its interdisciplinary approach to health care, and access to Geriatric nurse practitioner with a well know Seniors program. Newly upgraded Listowel Memorical Hospital is also a 5-minute drive from the site.

At Riverview Park, we believe in creating a community of caring people is essential to healthy living. Our staff are hand-picked caring people already known in the community and we build on that training, coaching them to be kind, nurturing, and treating each resident with the full respect they deserve. A gourmet three course meal served daily with full access to our Bistro and 24 hr bar, our hotel like facility allows our residents to focus on exercise fitness classes, playing games, and organizing self-directed tours with their friends. Many of the activities will be self- directed by our residents, creating opportunities for residents to do things that are meaningful for them liked planned excursions or relaxing in the beauty salon.
Our memory care teams receive special training to help stimulate memories, senses, and especially to engage in empathy with the residents. Residents will receive access to 24-hour special memory care team, emergency call response and fire safety in each suite, assistance with dressing, bathing, continence and mobility, daily activities, and fully accessible secure outdoor patio area. Our team will create support groups and programs to encourage family communication and participation.
Twenty-five years of seniors’ housing experience including direct oversight of over 300 retirement and long-term care facilities in Canada and the U.S, and participated in approximately 65 development projects. Extensive experience in third party operations & asset management for a variety of well-established clients. From 2003–2011 was co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of Chartwell Seniors Housing REIT. From 2003–2013 was a principal of Spectrum Seniors Housing Development Corporation. Initial education and management development was in the field of Hotel & Resort Management, with particular focus on Food & Beverage management. Nine years with Hilton International Hotels in Canada and the U.S. in a variety of positions, including Director of Food & Beverage. In addition to Gray Wave, Richard is co-founder and President of Help for Mom, an eldercare advisory service and a Director, Principal of Outbreak Control and Remediation Management Group.
For more than 25 years Bob has provided design, development, senior project and operations leadership to North American: congregate care / private assisted living providers; low-income-housing-tax-credit senior housing specialists; destination resort creators; residential developers / builders; commercial office stakeholders; and, mortgage lenders… establishing distinctive seniors’ residences, world renowned playground resorts and enduring lifestyle communities. A Professional Engineer he brings analytics, structure and resolve to every development.
As one of the originating playground resort team members generated marketing / sales results that have become industry benchmarks; oversaw the growth of a low income seniors’ residential portfolio; and, project-managed and opened numerous private assisted and independent seniors’ communities. Prior to this he worked in single / multi-family residential and commercial office design / development / construction / marketing- sales on both sides of the border… Intrawest -Panorama Resort / Sun Peaks Resort, (British Columbia); Seniors Housing Assistance Group (Washington State); Fountains of Mission (Calgary); Heritage Place (Burlington); Martindale Gardens (Milton); Doon Village (Kitchener); Coventry Walk (London); are but a sampling.
With decades of experience in Canadian and USA strata / condominium management and administration, he has served in numerous capacities for condominium / strata corporations. Currently, he serves as Board member for a world class destination resort featuring three golf courses individually designed by Jack Nicklaus, Tom Watson and the late Arnold Palmer. His relaxed demeanour belies his tenacity and passion for creating and operating great retirement residences… communities that are designed for the residents, entrusted to each team member to deliver unparalleled service… a continual pursuit of excellence.
Born in Seoul, South Korea, and raised in South India, Jaegap Chung began studying architecture at the University of Oregon and completed his education at the University of Toronto, where he received his Bachelor of Architecture.
Jaegap has developed his keen sense of design and project management through his work with a number of prominent Toronto architectural firms, including Giannone Architects, Montgomery Sisam Architects, and Hariri Pontarini Architects, where he worked on a variety project types and specialized in high-end residential design and project management.
In 2006, Jaegap founded JCI Architects with partner Sue Jean. He has an intuitive understanding of proportions and pays careful attention to craftsmanship and materiality, while being able to create design opportunities in unexpected places. Building on these architectural skills is his ability to forge collaborative relationships across disciplines, streamlining communication and maximizing both the value and quality of a project.
